French fries (what we sometimes called potato chips in Naija) is unhealthy. It is loaded with calories which are made up of fat and sodium.
They have a very high percentage of trans fats which are very dangerous for our health, our weight loss journeys and our heard. Some studies have shown that trans fats can lead to high cholesterol levels and high insulin levels. Very high consumption of French fries can also be linked to diabetes.
The picture below shows three portions of French fries, and I have written out the amount of calories contained in each portion.
For the smallest portion, it contains 255 calories.
The medium portion contains 370 calories while the largest contains 455 calories.
