Gastrointestinal bloating, headaches, cramps or general discomfort after consuming some gluten in your diet are signs that tell you may be sensitive and allergic to gluten. People with CD avoid gluten products because of the risk of aggravating the illness.

The point we are driving at here is that if you don’t have an allergy to gluten, you don’t necessarily need to cut it out totally, you could just reduce your intake of gluten products so you can enjoy some of the advantages of going gluten-free. As usual, you have to eat healthy and exercise if you want to see results, especially for weight loss.

Beware of products in stores that say “gluten-free” as they don’t automatically mean low-calorie or healthy. Don’t feel like you have to go gluten-free if you are not particularly allergic to it. You could just tone it down a bit on the gluten consumption because you will be eating healthier foods which gives you much energy and helps you lose fat (weight loss).
