The 1200 Nigerian Meal plan was made thanks to numerous requests from the readers. I tried to make it as easy as possible, simple fast meals you can make in the morning before going to work, considering that most of the readers are busy women. For the lunch I tried to put in foods that you can either take to work or get at work. Please note that this should be accompanied with exercise.
Note that I didnt put the brown rice or wheat pasta and the likes as i did in the past. This is because i realized its a bit difficult to procure that in Naija, and the prices i heard they were being sold for in the shops are alarming. So here you have your white rice, beans moi moi but smaller portions. it is very important to note the serving sizes. The cup measurement is very important. it is a bit bigger than the normal naija peak milk cup. Please refer to the post i made on cup sizes to get an idea by clicking here. The cups can be found at your popular supermarkets, shoprite n the likes.
I am going to give recipes on each of these meals outlined here as the weeks roll by, along with several other recipes that you can use for weight loss with ingredients that are cheap and easily obtainable. Remember you dont have to go hungry to lose weight, just eat right and healthy, and workout. Also important is your water intake. A minimum of 2 liters per day should be your starting point.
