Eba, also known as garri, is one of the most loved foods for Africans and Nigerians.
Garri is actually made from cassava, which is processed and made into the finished product known as eba.
Now for most people who want to lose weight, i usually tell them to reduce thier intake of Eba, if possible to once a week, and reduce the quantity taken. The reason is this:
Eba is made practically from cassava. A cup of garri contains approximately 360 calories, 99percent of which is carbohydrates
now most times, we don’t just eat just one wrap. its usually a minimum of 2. Then by the time you add the calories from the soup and the meat and chicken etc.
Besides, remember that carbohydrates are not fat burning foods, so its so much easier to store excess carbs in your body.
